“ Love coming here with mama friends on ballet days (tutu school across the street) with our kids to get their rotisserie chicken, or kids mac and cheese. My favorite is the empanada sampler platter. Be mindful that it's an additional charge for extra salsa or sauces - we only found out afterwards when we received the bill (and after we ordered a bunch for the table and all the guests dining with us). Wish they communicated that with us when ordering. Other than that, yummy food for both adults and kids, and convenient location! ”
“ So delicious! Stopped for a quick lunch and loved the pisco sour and lomo. Diana was the server and she was so sweet and helpful! ”
“ This is a great restaurant and excellent customer service! The food was high quality and Diana R. was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely go back ! ”
“ Diana is amazing!!!! Great server! Also the drinks and meals were beyond fantastic. 10/10 recommend for the service alone! ”
“ On another random dining hunt we came across Parada. Nicely appointed restaurant with lots of seating, some on an outdoor covered patio. We chose to dine inside. The music was a bit loud and Latin EDM seemed to be the house choice. The food... Was amazing!! We sincerely enjoyed the Adobo and the Paella dishes, both were really wonderful. I also strongly recommend the dessert sampler because you get a taste of several delicious sweets. The service was friendly, quick and efficient but it was also a quiet late lunch for us so YMMV. Still loved this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique dining experience. ”
“ My wife wanted to take me here and was very glad she did. Very nice restaurant and the waitress - Catherine was very nice and pleasant. We ordered the Ceviche Mixto and Lomo Saltado, which was excellent! We will definitely be back here again - as our new favorite Peruvian Restaurant. Thank you Catherine for making our first visit enjoyable and welcoming! Muchas Gracias! ”
“ NOTE: This is attached to the Avalon apartment complex. Parking may be difficult to find. I've been a few times with family to Parada. Can't speak to its authenticity, but as a newbie to Peruvian food, it's delicious ^_^ Their appetizers are amazing. Service is always exceedingly attentive and courteous. I don't think I've ever sat without water or clean dishes/cutlery for more than 5 mins. Some favorites: - ELOTE DE LA CALLE (TBF I love corn everything, so of course love their herbed butter, on-cob version) - EMPANADA PLATTER (corn cheese FTW) - Any cebiche dish (perfectly sour and savory) The only issue I have is that their chicken is always dry. SO DRY. I've had several chicken dishes and run into the same issue. I'm not sure if it's a cultural thing or the chef's preference, but it's not my favorite texture. ”
“ This is a cool spot in Walnut Creek. I was in the area for a meeting and walked over here for dinner with some friends. First off, there was live Latin music which was great. The food was consistently good. I would recommend the ceviche, elote, plantains and the aji de gallina. Service was attentive and speedy. ”
“ Wow! Amazing! Nestled in Walnut Creek is an amazing Peruvian restaurant offering authentic cuisine. I can't emphasize how good it is except for the fact that I came here two days in a row for lunch. It's not cheap. It's definitely on the expensive side but the quality of the food is worth it. I ordered the lamb shank. I didn't know it was even a Peruvian dish . I was a bit hesitant at first. Will it smell? It was absolutely amazing. The best lamb I have ever eaten. I gnawed the bone at the end, making sure that nothing would be wasted. Wow! The next day, I ordered the Peruvian drink. It tasted like hibiscus . I also ordered their signature dish, Loma saltado. Wow! Delicious!!!! For Thinsulin fans, there's a lot of red light foods here but it's worth it! ”
“ My parents and I accidentally found this gem. We indulged in a five-star dining experience at this Peruvian restaurant. It was nothing short of exquisite. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance exuded sophistication and warmth. Each dish was a masterful blend of flavors, showcasing the richness and diversity of Peruvian cuisine. The presentation was impeccable, elevating the dining experience to a true culinary journey. The attentive service only added to the overall enjoyment, making it a memorable evening that I can't wait to repeat!! The restaurant's commitment to PURITY shone through in every aspect of the dining experience. From ingredients to immaculate cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area, every detail reflected a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality. It was evident that purity was not just a goal, but a fundamental principle guiding every aspect of the restaurant's operation! ( from the staff that work there to the food to the overall vibe! Don't conform to change!) The yuca frita at this restaurant is simply amazing! Crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside, each bite is a burst of flavor and texture. Served with a tantalizing dipping sauce, it's a delightful combination of savory and satisfying. A must-try for anyone visiting this establishment! The vegetarian paella bursts with vibrant flavors, showcasing a medley of fresh vegetables, fragrant saffron, and perfectly cooked rice. Each bite is a harmonious blend of savory goodness, creating a dish that's both satisfying and wholesome. A delightful choice for vegetarians and paella enthusiasts alike!! Absolute love. Live music and great drinks also! ”
